Two weeks before this concert, Jeanne called Class Act II Big Band. She had spotted Ted's name on the website, and wanted to get in touch with him. Jeanne's father was a trumpet player in the Marine Corps Band in 1945-46. He recalled a fellow trumpet player whose family was in the ice cream business. When Jeanne tracked Ted down, she was elated to discover that this man was the same trumpet player of whom her father had spoken so fondly. Overjoyed, she relayed this information to her father. A phone call was made between Jeanne's father and Ted. (Jeanne's father lives in North Carolina). When Jeanne heard that the band was going to be playing at the Tivoli Theatre, she and her husband came for the concert. This photograph was taken after the completion of the concert at the back of theatre. In further discussion with Jeanne, it was discovered that she has been in multiple television shows and movies over the past years, including an episode of ER.
The band invited Peter, who grew up in Downers Grove and played with Class Act I Big Band when it was in Naperville, to play a solo with Class Act II Big Band' special appearance at the Tivoli.
