Gary has been playing trumpet/cornet for 50 years.  He graduated from Dixon High School and has a B.S in Music Education from Northern Illinois University .  He taught instrumental music in the Oregon , IL school system for 14 years.

He has performed with:  The Rockford Symphony Orchestra, N.I.U. Faculty Brass Quintet, N.I.U. Orchestra, N.I. U. Concert Band, Blackhawk Brass Quintet, Walt Disney On Ice, lead trumpet for the N.I.U. Jazz Band, Sterling Municipal Band, Dixon Municipal Band, Rochelle Municipal Band, Rockford Summer Concert Band, Sauk Valley College Band, and many area high school musicals, and churches.  Back-up musician for:  Huntley Brown, Bob Hope, John Gary, and Lynda Carter (TV’s Wonder Woman).
